From December 2011 to July 2014 I ran the blog In a Hole in the Ground. It was a blast and I generated a lot of content posting news and rumors about the Hobbit movies, as well as original content reviewing the films, speculating about characters, and just generally having fun discussing Middle-earth. A number of the posts I wrote had a considerable number of views (at least for me, a simple hobbyist blogger), and I've decided to repost them here on my new blog as a sort of archive. This is by no means all of the posts from the old blog, just those that seemed to have the biggest impact on readers. Have fun perusing my thoughts on subjects ranging from Azog to Radagast the Brown.
